To be nobody but yourself in a world that’s doing its best to make you somebody else, is to fight the hardest battle you are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting.

Wes Cropper has been immersed in the arts since childhood, growing up in rural north-western Oregon. With an early fascination, and every media form available Wes pursued drawing and painting skills throughout his academic career, attending WestLinn High School, Clackamas Community College, and completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design at Portland State University.
Following his course of training, Wes built a strong design practice producing full color print for software manuals, compact disc packaging and, magazine advertising.Though there were many opportunities for adventure with the elements of design, Wes became disillusioned with the one-dimensional static flat surface that constituted his design space. He began exploring the prospect of moving images, 3D animation, video production, and web design.
As he dabbled he realized there was too much to learn on his own, and completed the Master of Fine Arts/ New Media program at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Wes Cropper now embraces the new media environment for academic discourse, for commercial application and for his own artistic expression.
